CDP Level I Workshop: Philadelphia, PA

The Level I program consists of two workshops (Coaching Ethics and Coaching Performance) where coaches will learn skills and techniques to introduce ultimate and its skills to new players. You will be taught how to manage effective practices, teach and maintain Spirit of the Game, interact with and utilize parents, improve team fitness, maintain high professional coaching standards and behave both ethically and legally while coaching.

Coaches of teams at any level and leaders in the ultimate community are encouraged to attend. You must be a current USA Ultimate member to attend. You also must be or become a USA Ultimate coach member to obtain certification. If you are under 21, you may attend the workshop, but your certification will be held until you turn 21.

There is ample parking at Strath Haven Middle School.

There is also local SEPTA Regional Rail Service nearby.

Take the Media/Elwyn line from Center City, heading towards Elwyn. Get off at the Wallingford station. The middle school is about a half mile walk from the station. When you get off the train, cross the train tracks, walk west along Possum Hollow Road (to your right). Make a left on Providence Road. Walk just under a half mile, and Strath Haven Middle School will be on your left.
