Brown's Annual Fall Ultimate Tournament, Huck a Hunk Of Burnin' Pumpkin, will take place on the weekend of October 25 and 26, 2014.
The tournament fee will consist of a $400 flat rate. If your team needs housing for either friday (10/24) or saturday (10/25) night, we’ll need a $100 deposit which will be returned on sunday afternoon if there’s no damage to housing.
We will provide food and water for both days, dinner for teams on Saturday, and a Halloween-themed (spooky!) party Saturday night with an incredible prize to the team that wins the party. There will be 16 men’s teams, so every team will be guaranteed 5 games, 4 on Saturday and bracket play on Sunday. We will have EMTs and bathrooms on site. The tournament will be USAU sanctioned.
VC ultimate will provide essential Huck a Hunk cool gear and a sweet ultimate lounge with games, prizes, and general tournament luxury. Ultiworld will be there—that’s right, Ultiworld!—as well as ultimate photographers and writers. We’ll have some tasty food vendors (yum!) and the Redbull truck will likely show up.
tl;dr : Huck a Hunk is going to be awesome, and it’s a fun and highly competitive setting to start developing your team this fall.
