Learn to Compete League: Raleigh-Spring 2016

This event is currently set for Invite-Only registration.
Learn to Compete will focus on refining fundamentals and introducing advanced ultimate skills and strategies to 10-14 year olds. This will be done through a combination of focused drills and exercises during the first part of each session, and then 5v5 games during the second part of each session. Participants will be split up into teams and compete in a mini-league throughout the five sessions, giving participants the chances to practice the skills they develop in a game environment.

When and Where:
Learn to Compete will occur at the same time and location as the Raleigh Learn to Play clinics (ages 7-12).
Sundays, March 6 - April 10 (5 Sundays - no clinic on March 27)
2:00-4:00pm
Raleigh - Lee Field on NC State's campus (2921 Thurman Dr. Raleigh, NC 27695)
Learn to Compete is an ideal program for:
Kids who have aged out of the Learn to Play clinics
Kids who have developed the skills practiced at Learn to Play and want more advanced instruction and play
Kids who are preparing for their Middle School Ultimate frisbee season!
Cost:
$55 - this includes 5 sessions, a custom disc, reversible jersey, and tons of fun!
***Note: Triangle Ultimate membership is NOT required for participation in Learn to Compete.
Registration deadlin
e - Registration will be open until the first clinic (March 6th). However, reversibles will only be provided on the first day for kids who registered before February 14th. If you register after February 14th, you will receive your reversible midway through the clinic series.
