The 2016 Rocky Mountain Mixed Sectionals will be played under the USAU's Official Rules of Ultimate 11th Edition.
Games are spaced two hours, fifteen minutes apart. All games are to 15 points, with a point cap at 17. The soft cap is at 105 minutes and the hard cap is at 125 minutes. Halftime is at 8 points, and lasts ten minutes. Overtime starts at 14-14. Each team has two team time-outs per half, and each team time-out lasts 70 seconds. Each time has one team time-out in overtime, regardless of how many time-outs were used during the game.
