Title: How to craft your team's offense to your players’ strengths
In this presentation, John will give coaches/captains tools to reflect on and analyze their team's strengths. After this reflection he will discuss how to use this information to steer you and your team into picking the right offense that will best maximize those strengths. You will leave this session with knowledge around various types of offensive sets and styles and what the goals of each offense is. Using this, leadership will be able to tailor their season to planning and preparing their team to best maximize their strengths on offense.
Presenter Bio: John Groess started playing ultimate in high school in MN in 2000. Since then, he has been hooked, traveling the world playing and coaching both beach and grass ultimate. He has coached high school, college, club, and national teams across all gender divisions, he is currently the coach of the USA mixed beach team. Professionally, he is a mathematics teacher and ultimate coach at Benilde-St. Margret's School in St. Louis Park, MN where he coaches both of their HS women's teams and their junior high mixed team.
