Carolina Friends School’s (CFS) ultimate team will be hosting a fun day of ultimate on Saturday, December 9! CFS has been one of the strongest high school ultimate programs recently, playing in the last six state tournament finals, winning the past five. Many of the players involved in those victories will be coming back to coach this clinic.Schedule:
Event Registration Website:
https://triangleultimate.org/e/cfs-middle-school-clinic-and-hat-tournament-2017
Schedule:
We’ll start with a clinic in the morning with coaching by high school players and returning alumni. Male coaches include former CFS players who now play for several top club and college teams including 2017 National College Champions CUT (Carleton College) and 3rd place Darkside (UNC Chapel Hill). Female coaches include members of the 2017 Youth Club Champion Warhawks and the 2016 US Junior National Team.
After a mid-day break, we’ll play a tournament with CFS players coaching "Hat Tournament" style teams. (The term ‘hat tournament’ comes from making teams randomly by drawing names out of a hat. For this tournament, we will strive to make the random teams somewhat evenly matched using information about players’ ages and experience.)
Where:
Carolina Friends School, 4809 Friends School Road, Durham, NC
When:
11am-4pm, Saturday, December 9th
Cost:
$12! Registration requires bringing a paper copy of a signed

to the fields and completing an Online Waiver.
Discs Available:
We’ll also have special Friends Ultimate discs for sale. Purchase for $8 with online registration or $10 at the tournament!
What to Bring:
Layers of clothes, a water bottle, some food for the mid-day break and snacks. Please also bring a paper copy of your signed
Medical Authorization form
