Learn to Play Clinic: Durham Spring 2022

This event is currently set for Invite-Only registration.
 This is a beginner Ultimate Frisbee program that teaches the fundamentals of Ultimate to 7-12 year olds - no experience needed! Each week features skill lessons, games, and scrimmages led by top-notch coaches. Since Ultimate is self-refereed, kids will learn how to handle their own calls on the field with guidance from coaches.

Also, this league is Pay What You Can!
Pay as much of the full program cost as you'd like to be a part of Spring Learn to Play.

Who'll be Playing?
Children ages 7 to 12 interested in playing outside, trying their best, and learning Ultimate!
(Youth 13+ can check out Youth Rec League)

Triangle Ultimate's passionate, safety-certified Americorps Coaches!

Sundays, March 13th - May 1st

Chapel Hill - 2-4pm
Raleigh - 2-4pm
Durham - 3-5pm

Registration includes a custom disc & reversible jersey!

USA Ultimate Membership fee is included in the registration price.
 

 

Mask Policy

Triangle Ultimate currently requires masks on and off the field for all participants at Triangle Ultimate programs (youth & adult), regardless of vaccination status. This policy will be re-evaluated in mid-February. 


Pricing

The recommended cost is < $10 per session for a total of $65. However, registration is Pay-What-You-Can.

 

 

Pay what you can, no questions asked! We're able to fund Pay What You Can programs through the generosity of our community members: folks who ensure that everyone is able to play Ultimate, regardless of their financial means.

Join this safe and fun opportunity to be active while playing and learning ultimate!
 *Each participant must complete a USA Ultimate insurance and liability waiver , medical authorization form and infectiouse diseases waiver in order to attend the clinic. You can consent to the USA Ultimate Waiver and Infectious Diseases Waiver via the registration form to the left, your USA Ultimate member account or by completing a signed paper copy and submitting it at the clinic.
 

Rostering Requirements - All event participants must have current waivers and membership and be rostered through the USA Ultimate rostering system in order to participate. 

Youth Participation Requirements - These requirements must be followed for any event that involves a participant under the age of 18. This includes the requirement for a rostered chaperone.
