The US Beach Open is a high level 4v4 mixed gender tournament that seeks to promote and be a proving ground for true gender equity on the ultimate field at the Pro, College and Youth level. It’s no secret that the International Olympic Committee is interested in our sport, and mixed gender beach ultimate is, for many reasons, high on the list.
 
Our goal is to give players and fans of ultimate the opportunity to experience the mixed 4v4 beach game at a high level and see what a phenomenal iteration of our sport it truly is.
 
 
 
Health, Safety and Liability Requirements - Please make sure to understand, follow, and communicate/share these requirements with all participants.
 
 
Youth Participation Requirements - These requirements must be followed for any event that involves a participant under the age of 18. This includes the requirement for a rostered chaperone.
 
  
 
Rostering Requirements - All event participants must have a current waiver & membership and be rostered through the USA Ultimate rostering system in order to participate.

What's provided? Every field will be lined and have score boards, There will be a Saturday showcase game and social event. Tournament central will have breakfast foods and plenty of water.  We will be filming a Quarters game, Semis game, and the Final. On top of all that, the winning team of the Pro Division goes home with $1000 in cash. 
 
We're also running a youth clinic and hat tournament. So bring your kids!
 
The US Beach Open will be highlighting Gender Equity and Spirit. We believe that these two principals are fundamental to the future of our sport. We will be encouraging spirit circles after games, will be following the official WFDF & BULA Spirit of the Game scoring system, and will be awarding a spirit champion at halftime of the pro finals.
