The California HS Girls' State Championship will be hosted once again in the Bay Area.
The tournament will be immediately followed by the Rising Star Showcase Game, comprised of the best young female players in the Bay Area, in partnership with California Roll. The revenue from the game will be donated to the girls' youth club, California Roll.
When: Sunday, April 14th
Schedule: 10:30am - 5:00pm (State Championship); 5:30pm - 7:00pm (Rising Star Showcase Game)
Where: El Cerrito High School, El Cerrito CA
Cost: $30 per player
Awards:
Spirit of the Game Award, to the team with the highest SOTG score, based on USAU Spirit Scoresheets.

FINANCIAL AID:
We highly encourage individuals to apply for financial aid if they are unable to pay part or all of our registration fees. We want to make sure that our sport is accessible to everyone! Please fill out our Application prior to registering for the event. If approved, your registration fee will be waived or modified to reflect the financial aid.

REGISTRATION
Registration ends on Friday, April 5th, 2019. The schedule will be posted and sent to the coaches on Monday, April 8th, 2019.
How to register:
Coaches and/or Team Managers must register their team online (min. 12 players) to secure their spot.

Getting a USAU membership
After registering the team on the USAU website, a BADA staff member will send a team invoice to the team manager to pay in full prior to the tournament. All registration fees must be paid prior to the event. Any team found fielding an unregistered player will be disqualified from the competition and no team members will receive a refund.
REQUIREMENTS:
This is a USAU sanctioned event. All teams are required to have:
- 1 coach who has a coach membership and has the SafeSport Certification*.
- 1 chaperone who has cleared the background check and the SafeSport Certification*.
- All players must have an updated USAU membership upon registration.*
- Have a minimum of 12 players registered and paid in order to reserve a spot in the tournament.
- Chaperones must have a hard copy of the USAU medical form from all their players on the field for each game.
*The background check and the SafeSport Certification can be completed through the USAU portal.
**Teams with incomplete requirements will not be scheduled for games.
