2020 Regional Talent ID Camp: Colorado Ultimate

Camp Times: 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Who: Players that are eligible for the 2022 World Junior Ultimate Championships. Players cannot be 19 before 1/1/2021. Minimum age is 12.

Where: Stenger Soccer Complex in Arvada

Cost: $75 includes lunch and disc

PARKING NOTE: The main gate will be closed – they just need to enter from 58^th and Simms (the turn that will take you into the townhomes at Timberland Farms) and park on that Westside (the stairwell will lead you down to the fields). 

 

U.S. National Team coach Joe Durst will run the camp. It will be designed to give attendees insight and experience in the skills, tactics and games utilized at National Team tryouts. This will also be an opportunity for campers to receive a better understanding of the U.S. National Team culture and tryout process. It will also give campers and coaches a chance to learn each other's playing and coaching styles. 

 

Joe Durst is a four-time gold-medal-winning coach, having served as an assistant for all four iterations of the U.S. U-24 Men's National Team. He helped lead the team to gold at the 2013, 2015, 2018 and 2019 U-24 World Championships. In addition, he spent the last four seasons as the head coach of Denver Molly Brown in the women’s club division, helping them reach the semifinals at the National Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018, as well as the 2018 World Ultimate Club Championships. Durst also has experience coaching ultimate at the high school and college levels.

 

If there are enough registrants, campers will be divided up by gender.

• Attendance at this camp is not a requirement nor any guarantee of acceptance into the U.S. National Team tryout process or U.S. National Teams themselves.
