2021 Regional Talent ID Camp: New England Ultimate

Camp Times: 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Who: Players that are eligible for the 2022 World Junior Ultimate Championships (WJUC). To participate, athletes must be at least 14 years old by the date of the camp and must not turn 20 before January 1, 2023.

 Where: Oxbow Marina, Northampton, MA

Cost: $100 includes U.S. National Team reversible tank and disc. If you would like lunch included choose the $110 option at registration.

U.S. National Team Coach Jason Adams will run the camp. Adams will design the camp to give attendees insight and experience in the skills, tactics and games utilized at National Team tryouts. The camp will be an opportunity for players to receive a better understanding of the U.S. National Team culture and tryout process. The camp will also give campers and coaches a chance to learn each other's playing and coaching styles.

 

Adams has been involved as a player and coach at both the college and club levels since picking up ultimate at the University of Delaware. As an assistant coach, he helped lead the 2018 U-20 Women’s National Team to gold at the World Junior Ultimate Championships and 2019 U-24 Women's National Team to gold at the 2019 World U-24 Ultimate Championships. Adams was also an assistant coach on the 2020 U-20 Women's National Team that was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will be serving as an assistant coach on the upcoming 2022 U-20 Women's National Team.

 

 If there are enough registrants, campers will be divided up by gender.
