U.S. National Team Coach DeAnna Ball will run the camp. Ball will design the camp to give attendees insight and experience in the skills, tactics and games utilized at National Team tryouts. This will also be an opportunity for campers to receive a better understanding of the U.S. National Team culture and tryout process. It will also give campers and coaches a chance to learn each other's playing and coaching styles.
DeAnna Ball has been active in the ultimate community as a player and coach for more than 20 years and is a two-time gold-medal-winning coach at the National Team level. As an assistant, she helped guide the U-24 Women's National team to gold at the World Under-24 Championships in January 2018 before leading the U-20 Women's National team to gold at the World Junior Ultimate Championships just seven months later. DeAnna would have coached the U-20 Women's National team in 2020. She is the current coach of Ohio State Fever and has coached the women's club team Columbus/Michigan Rival. She led Fever to their first-ever national title at the 2014 College Championships and helped Rival qualify for the National Championships and the Triple Crown Tour's Elite Flight in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
If there are enough registrants, campers will be divided up by gender.
