Competition Rules: 8 bids to Mid-Atlantic Regionals
(Format and # bids pending finalized USAU Rankings)
 
Pool Play and Bracket Play: Game Total of 13, win by 2; Point Cap of 15.

Soft Time Cap after 90 minutes: Add 2 to leading score for new Game Total.
Hard Time Cap after 110 minutes: Finish the point; then, if teams are tied, play 1 more point.

Halftime begins when one team's score reaches 7. Halftime lasts 10 minutes.
Each team has 1 timeout per half plus 1 floater. Caps do not affect timeouts.

Overtime begins when the score is tied at 1 goal less than the game total.
In overtime, each team has 1 timeout regardless of how many timeouts they had previously used.
 
N.B.: Sunday's Upper Advancement Bracket (6.1.2) may necessitate opponent-swapping in the Semifinals. For more information, please see the USAU Manual of Championship Series Tournament Formats.

Team Registration Deadline: Friday, August 22nd at 7:00 PM (EDT) Finalized Roster Deadline: Tuesday, September 2nd at 7:00 PM (EDT) All teams must have a registered roster on the USAU website with at least 10 eligible players by the Team Registration Deadline. Teams may then add additional players, up to 27 total, by the Finalized Roster Deadline. All teams must also contact the Founders Open Sectional Coordinator via email before the Team Registration Deadline in order to confirm that they will compete at Sectionals.
