Polo Club Rules:

We are very fortunate to have the use of these fields and have worked hard with both the neighbors, the owners of the fields, and the Town of Merton to make this event happen. This relationship has certainly been tested in the past and any acts of disrespect towards the fields, the neighbors, and the general area may threaten this relationship and will not tolerated.


The basic premise is respect:

· Please respect that this event is being held on property that neither you nor the Milwaukee Ultimate Club owns.

· Please respect that this event is being held essentially in the middle of a subdivision

· Please respect that this is a small town that you are invading.


At the fields, this includes using the bathrooms provided and not urinating in someone’s front or back yard, only driving where you are directed and not in someone's front yard or driveway.


Additional Rules:

· NO DOGS ALLOWED

· NO GLASS ALLOWED

· NO BOTTLE CAPS ALLOWED

· NO CARS MAY BE LEFT OVERNIGHT AT THE POLO FIELDS


Please communicate these rule to everyone on your team as well as spectator that may be coming to help ensure the use of these fields for ultimate in the future.


Bring Your FULL Water Bottles

There is NO running water at the fields - with that we ask that you and your teammates bring a FULL water bottle (Nalgene size is perfect) to the fields. We will have over a 1000 gallons of water to refill your water bottles and keep you hydrated throughout the day.


There will be water stations setup around the fields with 5 gallon jugs to refill YOUR water bottles. We have found this setup to be much more environmentally friendly and even with our recycling efforts has significantly reduced the waste the tournament generates.


The jugs cannot be reused if they are damaged, have anything added to them, sat upon, or re-filled. Therefore, if any of these water jugs are removed from the water stations by non-tournament staff, the team that removes the jug will be charged for the bottle and risks future participation in the Cooler Classic tournament.


Recycling

There will be both recycling and trash containers at every water station, at tournament headquarters, and in the middle of the field setup. Please help us out in reducing our carbon footprint and utilize these containers for all your plastic and aluminum bottles - remember no glass allowed at the polo fields.


Parking

Parking is available at the Polo Club fields, but you must park where we direct you to park.


No cars may be left overnight at the polo fields!


Social Event

We will be hosting a social event at the Delafield Brewhaus in Delafield on Saturday night. We are finalizing working out a live band. Food and Beverages will be available for purchase. Minors are welcome as this is a restaurant. Bring your I.D. if you want to drink alcoholic drinks. You WILL get carded.

The Milwaukee Ultimate Club is excited to once again host the USA Ultimate Central Region Championships. We strive to provide a quality framework for the tournament as your team looks to qualify for nationals. This tournament will be staff solely by volunteers including myself, the tournament director. I can't thank these volunteers enough for making my job easier. Please help me by thanking them and helping pick up the trash and recyclables that your team generates.
