Format:
We are using the 7 teams 5 bids format updated in 2021. This format results in a championship game to determine 1st and 2nd place as well as a 3rd-7th place pool after completing the first rounds. The results of the 3rd-7th place pool along with the earlier results the teams played against each other in the Pool A and Bracket B, will determine 3rd-7th place using standard tie-breakers as needed.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: As the COVID-19 pandemic continues into 2022, USA Ultimate activities and programs for the year will be evaluated and planned with the health and safety of our members and the broader community as the top priority. In collaboration with its Medical Advisory Working Group, along with guidance from other medical experts, public health officials and sports organizations, USA Ultimate will work during 2022 to provide opportunities for safe and healthy ultimate and ultimate-related activities that are in line with its COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures and all applicable federal, state, and local health and safety regulations.
