2022 USA Ultimate Beach Championships - Rules

• USA Ultimate 2022-2023 Official Rules of Ultimate – with Appendix E:  Beach Ultimate Rules Adaptations

• 5v5 Beach fields will be used.

• Shoes/cleats not permitted.

• All games go to 13.

• Halftime is five minutes.

• Each team has one timeout per game.

• Hard time-cap goes on at end of round time on schedule. Game is over at the end of the point in progress, unless tied. If tied, play one more point.

• Caps do not affect timeouts.

 

NOTE:  With the motorsports event taking place farther south down the beach, the jets flying overhead, and other noise, the horns (round start and hard cap 60 minutes after round start) may be difficult to hear.  Teams should keep an eye on the clock and start and end games on time.
