Last year, Colorado College/Wasabi invited COSmic Club Ultimate to compete at their Snowmelt tournament (in Colorado Springs!) for FREE to support local youth Ultimate! We have been invited again this year.
This year, we will be using this tournament as a winter "warm-up" for both returning and NEW players for the Spring high school league season and COSmic Club Ultimate's summer club season!
Practices:
When: Wednesdays, 4:00 - 6:30 pm, January 17 thru February 28 (i.e. 7 total, one per week)
Where: John Venezia East turf field (under the lights)
What: Heavy focus on individual skills; light focus on team strategies/systems. Will develop players based on experience level.
Snowmelt Tournament:
When: March 2-3
Where: Colorado Springs, El Pomar Sports Complex
What: College-based tournament
New players are HIGHLY encouraged to join. All tournament players will receive equal playing time.
In order to participate, you must NOT turn 20 years old in 2024.
Costs:
$30 - Field rental and lights (*COSmic funds will cover a majority of these costs)
Tournament players only, $40 - USAU Youth Membership IF you do not have one or your current membership has expired.
Discounts:
Bring a NEW player (has not previously participated in COSmic Club Ultimate) and you BOTH receive $10 off.
