Roster Requirements:
Make sure your roster is valid. All participants must have valid USAU memberships (at least a Youth membership) and completed USAU waivers. All eligibility waiver requests that do not meet the criteria of the USAU 2025 Youth Guidelines should be sent to South Central Regional Youth Director Jamie Wolf for approval at ryd_south@usaultimate.org.
Note that every team must have a Chaperone on the roster who has a valid USAU membership, has passed a background check, is at least 21 years of age, and has completed Safesport Training. Team Chaperones are responsible for collecting and maintaining physical Medical Authorization Forms for all participants under the age of 18.
Every coach on the roster must be a Foundational Coach, be 18+, have passed a background check, and completed Safesport training. No coaches who have not completed those requirements will be permitted on the sidelines of games.
Every team must have at least one Youth Certified Coach (High School Certification is also valid for this requirement). If this is the first year that a team is playing in a High School State Championship, they are exempt from this requirement. However, it is strongly encouraged that they have a coach get the high school coach certification as they will be expected to meet this requirement in the subsequent years.
