Both days teams have two timeouts per half. Caps do not affect timeouts. If you have them you can use them.
Hard cap: Finish the point. If the game is not tied, it’s over. If the game is tied, play one more point.
Soft cap: Finish the point. Assuming the original score-to-win total has not been reached, add one to the current highest score and that is the new score-to-win total.
Half-cap: Finish the point. Assuming the original score-to-take-half total has not been reached, add one to the current highest score and that is the new score-to-take-half total.
Saturday Caps and Info
105 minute hard cap, 90 minute soft cap, 45 minute half-cap. Games to 15.
In the Boys/NB Division, pools A and B are clipped pools. The results of the first round determine the 2nd round. The two teams who win in the first round will play each other in the second round. The two teams who lost in the first round will play each other in the second round. Though it seems like it, reminder that this is not a bracket and depending on point-diff and record, a team that won in the first round can still finish 3rd in the pool and likewise a team that lost in the first round can still finish 2nd in the pool. Because it is the top two teams from each pool that make the championship bracket, this distinction matters.
Sunday Caps and Info
90 minute hard cap, 75 minute soft cap, 38 minute half-cap. Games to 13.
In both divisions, as was requested last year, the start time of the finals has been delayed 30 minutes compared to other games happening that round so that there can be more player-spectators.
