Time: 9am to 4p (9a to 9:30 check in, 9:30 to 9:45 Team Formation, 9:45 Warm Ups, 10-First Pull)

Location: Prospect Park Parade Grounds (Fields 1,2 and 3), 50 Parkside Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11218

Description: Please join us for our Third Annual Brooklyn Disco Mixed Tech Support Hat Tournament at the Prospect Park Parade Grounds. Tournament is open to all skill levels to compete in a single mixed division hat tournament.

What is mixed division? Teams will be made up of a mix of boy matching players and girl matching players. Players can also play as a "defender of choice" and match up against any player throughout the game. This is primary intended for gender expansive players.

Teams will be formed at the field by picking names out of a hat.

Requirements: To participate, all players must be a current USA Ultimate member (affiliate or youth) and must bring a USA Ultimate Medical Authorization form on the day of. For those becoming a USA Ultimate member for the first time and who plan to play in 2025, consider getting a fall and next year too membership. All players must bring/submit a completed medical authorization form linked here at check in.

Format: 5 v 5 (3:2 ratio of boy matching players to girl matching players) with names put in a hat and teams formed randomly on the day of. Hope to include a couple of rounds of pool play followed by bracket play.

Cost: Pay What You Can: $0, $10 (Suggested) or $20 (help others play for free). Payable on day of at check in (cash, venmo or paypal). All proceeds benefit the Brooklyn Tech Support and Brooklyn Disco Tech high school teams.

Rostering Requirements - All event participants must have a current waiver & membership and be rostered through the USA Ultimate rostering system in order to participate. Membership Help Page
Youth Participation Requirements - These requirements must be followed for any event that involves a participant under the age of 18. This includes the requirement for a rostered chaperone.
