USAU 11th edition rules.
Pool Play:
All pool play games to 13.
Win by 2.
Point cap at 15.
Soft cap at 75 minutes. Finish the current point (even if the disc has not yet been pulled) then add 2 to the highest score.
Hard cap at 95 minutes. Finish the current point (even if the disc has not yet been pulled). Game is over unless the score is tied. If the score is tied play one more point.
Next round starts: 105 minutes.
Overtime rules apply if the score reaches 12-12. “Overtime” does not apply if the game is capped at less than 13 points.
Finals:
Game to 15.
Win by 2.
Point cap at 17.
Soft cap at 100 minutes. Finish the current point (even if the disc has not yet been pulled) then add 2 to the highest score.
Hard cap at 120 minutes. Finish the current point (even if the disc has not yet been pulled). Game is over unless the score is tied. If the score is tied play one more point.
Overtime rules apply if the score reaches 14-14. “Overtime” does not apply if the game is capped at less than 15 points.
All games:
Halftime is 10 minutes
Two time-outs per half. (Time outs are 70 seconds long)
Time-outs are NOT affected by caps. (USAU event, so you keep your time-outs in cap)
One time-out per team in Overtime, regardless of previous time-out calls.
Finalists will earn the top 2 bids to regionals. Saturday pool results are carried into Sunday. Top 3 teams finishers from the Sunday pool will earn the 3rd, 4th, and 5th bids to regionals.
