Tournament rules
All games will be played by the USA Ultimate rules, 11th edition, unless specified otherwise.
 
Pool play (all day Saturday and first round Sunday):
  • Games to 13; rounds are 90 minutes. There should never be a score greater than 13 unless in a win-by-two situation. This may occur if the soft cap has happened.
  • Each team has one (1) timeout per half and a floater. Timeouts are not affected by the caps.
  • Soft cap is at 60 minutes. At this time, add two to the highest score once the point ends. The game will be played to this score.
  • Hard cap is at 80 minutes. After the current scoring attempt is completed, the following cap rules are in effect:
    • If a team is up by one (1) point or more, then the game is over.
    • If the teams are tied, one more point will be played to determine the winner. Following that point, the game is completed.

Bracket play (last three rounds on Sunday):
  • Games to 15; rounds are 105 minutes. There should never be a score greater than 15 unless in a win-by-two situation. This may occur if the soft cap has happened.
  • Each team has two (2) timeouts per half. Timeouts are not affected by the caps.
  • Soft cap is at 75 minutes. At this time, add two to the highest score once the point ends. The game will be played to this score.
  • Hard cap is at 95 minutes. After the current scoring attempt is completed, the following cap rules are in effect:
    • If a team is up by one (1) point or more, then the game is over.
    • If the teams are tied, one more point will be played to determine the winner. Following that point, the game is completed.
