Park Details: 
  • Pets are allowed on-leash, just be sure to pick up after them. 
  • There are restrooms available in the parks' concession stand building, otherwise there will be port-a-lets available around the park. 
  • Parking is available all around the edge of the park, but NO parking in grass. No parking on the grass, except for the area in the west parking lot where the pavement ends by field 11.

This weekend's event will have major heat concerns on Saturday and we’ve decided to alter the schedule. We’ve met as a group to make changes earlier in order to allow teams to prepare, but please understand that some additional decisions may have to be made on Saturday and/or Sunday. All of these decisions are in consideration of the health and safety of our players and volunteers. We are referring to USAU’s Heat and Air Quality policy, as linked below. 
 

USAU’s Heat and Air Quality Contingency Plan for Major Events

  • Saturday’s games will start at 8am, with the following rounds starting at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. 
  • The 4th and 5th rounds on Saturday, scheduled for 2 and 4pm, may be moved to 5 and 7pm if the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) measures as high as it is predicted to be. We will make this decision and announce it by 12pm on Saturday, as we hope to be able to play as scheduled.
  • All games, all weekend, will be shortened to 90-minute rounds with a 30-minute break in between rounds as per the policy.
  • There will be mandatory water breaks for the first team to reach 3 in the first half, and the first team to reach 10 in the second half or when a soft cap is applied (whichever comes first). For Level 1 heat alterations, the water break will add 3 minutes to the break for a total of 4 minutes 30 seconds. For Level 2 heat alterations, the water break will add 4 minutes to the break for a total of 5 minutes and 30 seconds. 
  • In Level 2 heat alterations, maximum time between points will be extended by 1 minute for a total of 2 minutes 30 seconds. 
  • If the heat continues to be concerning for Day Two, we may move games to start at 8am on Sunday as well. We will do our best to avoid moving games to late afternoon on Sunday to accommodate potential travel plans.
