The 2018 USA Ultimate National Championships will feature pool play, early championship bracket and consolation bracket games at the
Surf Cup Sports Park followed by select semifilnal and final championship games at
Mira Mesa High School's stadium in San Diego, CA.

We are very excited to be bringing the National Championships back to the west coast for the first time since 1999. But with having the event in a destination like San Diego come significantly increased costs over past locations. As a result, the player fee will be higher than it has been recent years at $104/player.
We know that the increased costs are difficult for some athletes; we have tried to minimize these increased costs by negotiating some cost saving measures for teams and players:
- Special hotel deals have been established with partner hotels. Teams that book with a partner hotel will receive a rebate of $125.
- The venue charges a parking fee of $10 per day, but USA Ultimate will pre-pay that parking fee for 8 vehicles per participating team each day. Teams will receive parking passes for 8 cars in their team pack at the tournament and will be responsible to track and distribute appropriately.
- Admission will be charged to non-players only for the semifinals and finals in the Mira Mesa High School stadium, which helps offset players' fees and local hosting organization costs to operate the tournament.
We will continue working hard to try and find creative cost-saving solutions and are committed to bringing players an incredible event. We are excited to see you all compete in San Diego and to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our sport.

For spectators, there will be free admission to the Surf Cup Sports Park games on Thursday, Friday and Sat morning, although the venue's staff will be charging for parking per car. For Saturday and Sunday games at the Mira Mesa High School, admission will be charged for spectators who are not also registered event participants. Tickets can be purchased online in the USA Ultimate mobile app (Events -> Upcoming -> National Championships) in advance or in person at the gate.
