Clipped Pool Format
All pools of four are "clipped" pools, which have two games instead of three.
Round 1: Highest Seed plays Lowest Seed, two Middle Seeds play each other
Round 2: Round 1 winners play each other, Round 1 losers play each other. For the 2nd game, follow the field assignments that are listed in the USAU Score Reporter for that matchup. Tournament staff will delete the games that are "clipped" and not played.
Results:
1st - The team that finished 2-0
2nd/3rd - If these teams played, the winner of the matchup is 2nd. If not, the tiebreak is point differential and then points scored in the two clipped pool games (that are common opponents). The USAU site will automatically calculate which team finishes 2nd or 3rd.
4th - The team that finished 0-2
